October 22, 1928 — December 6, 2024
JAMES – Muriel Drexel , 96, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. She is survived by her children, Joseph James, Vertiley Stephens, Marguerita Perkins, Cookie Neptune, Alfred James, Allyson James-Vigil, and Norma JamesMcKibbin. 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Also 2 sisters, Claudine Brown and Kay Taylor, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the 5th born of 11 siblings; 4 boys and 7 girls. Mom would work occasionally at fabric stores and for a legal firm. She really liked working with Senior Citizens in hospice centers.
Memorial Service will be held at French's, celebrating her life Thursday at 11:00 am, December 19, 2024. Her ashes will be taken to Santa Fe National Cemetery, Tuesday at 2:30 pm, January 7, 2025.
