Minnie Lou (Conn) Richardson

Minnie Lou “Conn” Richardson, age 83, long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away after battling brain cancer at home on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, William E. Richardson; her parents, Herbert C. and Cornelia A. Conn; son, Mike “sidetrack” Richardson; three sisters; and one brother. She is survived by daughter, Anna Redding and husband, Matt; sons, Robert Richardson and wife, Jennifer, and Patrick Richardson and wife, Kathleen; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Conn and wife, Barbara along with extended family members and friends. Minnie was born on Sunday, March 1, 1936 in Houston, TX. Her family moved to the Rio Grande Valley, TX when she was 8 years old. While in high school she met her future husband, William and married him on Saturday, May 8, 1954. Minnie was known by many names throughout her life. Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, grandma Minnie and when she was a child her siblings gave her the nick name of “Bones”. She was a Tupperware dealer from the late 70’s until 2017. She also spent time as a Watkins representative. In her spare time she loved to garden, cook, bake, sew, make crafts and be with her family. Her greatest love in life was spending quality time with her entire family and making sure that they were well fed. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at, FRENCH-University. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. also at, FRENCH-University. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
