Minerva Vescovi went to be with Jesus on February 5, 2016 while surrounded by loved ones. Minnie was born on February 2, 1924 to parents, Michele Luchetti and Madalena Marchesi-Luchetti. A life-long South Valley resident, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vescovi to whom she was married for 54 years. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Olympia Raines, Marriene Bordenave, and Norma Chavez; and brothers, Pete Luchetti, Duvilio Luchetti, and Alex Luchetti.
She is survived by her brother, Olindo Luchetti; her children, Sylvia Walker, Sandra Vescovi, Fred Vescovi and wife Debbie, and Jeff Vescovi and wife Karen. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great children.
Minnie was a wonderful person who loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was known for her amazing Italian cooking and for treating people with love and kindness. Everyone who met her loved her because she had a way of making everyone feel loved and treasured. Minerva loved God and had tremendous faith that she passed down to her family. She was a parishioner at St. Anne's Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Casa Angelica in her name.
