Mildred JoAnne Risinger

JoAnne Risinger, 67, a dedicated wife, devoted daughter, an unconditional loving mother, and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born August 7, to Estevan & Maclovia Sanchez; and lovingly raised by Edulia and Medardo Romero.

JoAnne loved and cared for her everyone around her. JoAnne was a professional, exceptional Nurse in pediatrics. She semi-retired from UNMH, then went onto retire from Lovelace Medical Center. JoAnne is always remembered for her smile and contagious laugh.

JoAnne is survived by all her family, husband of 48 years, Jim Risinger; sons, James Risinger and Steve Risinger; daughter, Barbara Martinez; six grandchildren, Jacob, Madisson, Shelby, Kathryn, Valentina, and Scarlet; also survived by her mother, Edulia. JoAnne also leaves cherished brothers and sisters.

Joanne was preceded in death by Estevan & Macolovia Sanchez, Medardo Romero, Fay & Kathyrn Risinger, and great granddaughter Ruby.

Prayer services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 7th, at FRENCH-Wyoming.
