Mildred Chavez

Mildred M. Chavez, 83, born April 7th, 1942 died November 7th, 2025 peacefully in her home. She had no children of her own but for many years helped raise numerous nieces, nephews, and was jokingly, lovingly, known as the neighborhood watch. You would often find her in her chair looking through the window watching over and caring for all her neighbors and friends that visited. She was an avid Diamond Dot enthusiast who worked endlessly into the nights creating beautiful pieces that she often gave away to those she cared for.

Mildred M. Chavez was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Sophie Chavez, her brother in law Richard D. Lopez, niece Donna Mirabal, and Aunt Viola Garcia. Survived by Sister Ruth, brother Errol. Heartwarmth thanks to Mike, Dan, Arlene, Justin, Aline, Randy, Manny, Jhoana, Sharon, Paul, Mrs. Wiggins, Johnny, Das, Margaret, Sandra, Jessica, Jordan, Kimberlee, Leeann, Rosanna, Michael, Tom, Sandy, Lorraine, Aunt Ruby, Bernadette, Gina, Frances, Rosalie, Joey, Lawrence, Annelle, Jerome, Louise, Anthony A., all of whom she considered family.
