Michelle Nunez
August 15, 1968 — February 6, 2022
Michelle Nunez, 53, beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, February 6, 2022. She entered this world on August 15, 1968 in Colorado Springs, CO, born to Lupe and Minerva Salcido. Michelle grew up in Phoenix, AZ and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1994. Michelle served as a 911 dispatcher with Albuquerque PD for 14 years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Nunez; sons, Michael Nunez, Jr. and Matthew Nunez; brothers, Gabriel Salcido, Jose Salcido and Eric Salcido; sister, Bridgette Salcido; grandson, Jaden Nunez; and granddaughter, Kia Nunez.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at New Heights Baptist Church, 5300 Iliff Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
