Michelle Marie Behrendt

Michelle Behrendt, age 53, passed away on June 19, 2020 after a long illness.

She was much loved by her son, Jordan, her parents, John and Betty, and a host of extended family and friends. Michelle was known for her friendly, talkative, and outgoing nature. She enjoyed writing letters, coloring pictures, and participating in Arts & Crafts. She loved life and her fighting spirit pulled her through many years of increasingly serious illnesses.

She is survived by her son, Jordan Larson, and her parents, John and Betty Behrendt. She also leaves cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and church family at churches in Albuquerque, Rolla, Missouri, and Amarillo, Texas. She had several dear friends who visited her regularly, chatted with her on the phone, and exchanged letters with her for many years. They lifted her spirits and enriched her life daily. Also touching Michelle’s life were her many friends and caregivers at Camino Healthcare (formerly known as Paloma Blanca) where she lived for the past 11 years. Their love and care was invaluable to her and deeply appreciated by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
