Michael George Marra

Michael G. Marra, age 79, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.

Michael will be remembered as a man who truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent many special moments camping and exploring. He found joy in whittling, often creating with patience and care, and loved the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle. Whether riding his bike or spending time outdoors, Michael embraced each day with a sense of adventure and independence.

Above all, Michael cherished his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Rose Marie; his son, Derek Marra; his daughter-in-law, Charmayne A. Marquez; and his beloved granddaughter, Madison M. Marra (Alyssa and Mason), who brought him great joy and pride.

Michael's steady presence, warm spirit, and love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery for family and friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Celebration of Life will follow immediately after.
