Horan
July 20, 1968 – April 13, 2026
Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
1:00 - 4:00 pm (Mountain time)
On the morning of Monday April 13, 2026, Missy took her last breath with her husband Larry, daughter, Shelby and Shelby's fiancé, Will by her side. Missy battled pancreatic cancer for 20 months with tremendous strength, grace and unwavering kindness. Even on the worst of days, she would always treat others with kindness and compassion. She loved two things almost more than her family, Mickey Mouse and the Vegas Golden Knights. She was a bright light in this world and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Missy is survived by her husband, Larry, daughter, Shelby, Shelby's fiancé, Will Ritterhouse and their four fur babies Poe, Boo, Puck and Bean. Also survived by her parents, Ivall and Vaunetta Miller, her brother, Brian Miller and his wife, Wesley who she loved dearly, her sister, Amy Hahn and her husband, Larry, nephew, Mitchell, her niece, Kelsey Zielinski and her husband, Zac and their daughter, Ava who Missy baby hogged and gave her last kiss to. We would like to thank her care team at Presbyterian Oncology, UNM Cancer Center and the nurses (and Ryan) at the Kaseman infusion center who always treated Missy with compassion and kindness. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 31, 2026, at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in her name to Pancan Network or Pink Warrior House.
