Melba Jolene Roach

August 8, 1949 — March 25, 2020

Melba Jolene Roach, age 70, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Born to Buck and Nellie Webb, she entered this world on August 8, 1949, in Matador TX. Melba is survived by her three children and their spouses: Lori and husband Shane, Phillip and partner Tiffany, Kara and husband Chris; grandchildren, Cole, Eric, Rilee, Logan D., Devon, Reese, Logan C.; great-granddaughter, Aura along with another on the way. She is also survived by her first husband, Gilbert; her three sisters, Gayle, Donna and Carla along with their families and many special friends.

Melba worked in the banking industry for over 36 years. She filled her retirement days with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her two little dogs and her closest friends. She enjoyed being outside and admiring her beautiful view of the Sandia mountains. She was loved by many and was the most giving person. She was always there for her children. Melba was the one her children called no matter what news they had. She was their rock, cheerleader and confidant. Her friends and family have said that she was the sweetest, most selfless person they have ever known.

Melba J. Roach was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Nellie Webb, husband, David Roach, grandson Austin and her baby brother, George.

Due to the social distancing and the Stay Home Order, a Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date so all can attend and pay their respects. Melba will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park. The family would ask that any flowers be sent to FRENCH – Westside no later than Thursday, April 2, 2020, if you are so inclined.
