Maximinio (Max) E. Baca, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Max is survived by his nieces, Benita Alexandre and Joanna DeBrine and husband, Earl; nephew, Roy Hendrickson; sister-in-law, Mable C. Hendrickson; great-niece, Jordan DeBrine; and great-nephews, Trey DeBrine, Joseph DeBrine, and Robin Hendrickson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Griselda and Esteban Baca; sisters, Mary B. Aguilar and Kathleen Quinn; niece, Kim Hendrickson; and brother-in-law, Ray L. Hendrickson.
Born on November 4, 1946, in Socorro, New Mexico, Max was a beacon of love and faithfulness throughout his 79 years.
As we bid farewell to Max E. Baca, let us not mourn as those without hope, for we know that he rests in the loving arms of our Savior. Let us instead give thanks for the time we were blessed to share with him, for the lessons he taught us, and for the unconditional love he gave so freely.
May his soul, through the Mercy of God, rest in Peace.
Max's life celebration will begin with a Rosary on Thursday, July 9, 2026, 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at the Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 4th Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Max will be laid to rest following the mass at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
