Maximiliano Tafoya

Maximiliano Tafoya, age 82 passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. Max was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp. Max was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cynthia Tafoya; sons, Michael and Marvin (Anita); and grandsons, Daniel and Jonathan (Anna).  He is also survived by his brother Ernestino (Harriet); and sister Emily (Garry) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.  He was preceded in death by his father Manuel S. Tafoya and mother Eliza T. Tafoya.  Pallbearers will be Michael and Marvin Tafoya, Daniel Tafoya, Jonathan Larkin, Regis Chavarria and Isaac Chavarria.  A visitation and Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Lomas.  Interment will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, located at 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
