Mary Alice Lightfoot

January 3, 1929 — December 16, 2020

Mary Alice Lightfoot, 91, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

She entered this world on Thursday, January 3, 1929 in Mexico City, MX, born to Carlos Egry and Margarita Mester Egry from Budapest, Hungary. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Dennise Kennedy Egry; son, Mark Edwin Kennedy and daughter, Kim Maria Lightfoot.

Her inspiration were her 6 granchildren, Eduardo Abraham Gonzalez Kennedy, Leslie Dennise Gonzalez Kennedy, Brandon Alexander Kennedy Becerra, Mark Edward Kennedy Becerra, Amanda Patricia Kennedy and Marie Ann Bloom, along with 5 great grand children.

At an early age, Mary attended boarding school in San Antonio, TX to learn Engish. She later attended Adelphi University in New York. She became a U.S. Citizen.

She enjoyed traveling to different states and out of the country especially to visit family in Mexico City, MX and Paris, France.

Mary eventually moved to Phoenix, AZ.
One of her proud accomplishments was working at American Express in Phoenix, AZ as a Purchasing Buyer in Card Member Services. Her work ethic was like no other and retired with them. She always enjoyed working and decided in her retirement to work part time in retail and admin assistant positions.

Mary was a class act, one of a kind, a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. Mary was well known for her impeccable sense of fashion and personal style. She loved to dance and sing and she lit up a room. Mary was an avid reader, loved classical music especially the violin and enjoyed movies.

Mary chose Albuquerque to be with one of her daughters for her remaining years she was blessed in enjoying.

She will me missed dearly by her loving family and friends.

She is free and another star is shining in the sky, and a beautiful angel is in Heaven

There will not be a memorial at this time however, please visit the guest book to honor Mary.
