Maria Whipple

Mary "Maria" Whipple went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 19, 2025. She passed on peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her father Claudio "Clyde" Whipple and her mother Ruth Emilia Whipple. She is survived by her brother Gene Whipple and wife Gloria, her sister Barbara Rivas and husband Martin, her brother Steven Whipple and wife Angela and her brother David Whipple and wife Denise. She helped raise her nieces like her own daughters, Candice, Jennifer and Stephanie. She was the Godmother to Claudine, Gene Jr, Stephanie, Kamree and Carmelita. She had 19 nieces and nephews and their spouses and many great nieces and nephews and their spouses. She was the giver and receiver of so much love! She was born in Albuquerque New Mexico but moved to San Bernardino CA where her father worked as a truck driver for the quarry as well as for Global Trucking, then returned back to Albuquerque at the age of 12. She was a loving and caring sister, auntie, cousin and friend. She was selfless and always put others before herself. She loved the Washington Redskins, spending time outside weeding and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and would come and go "like the wind". She was a big fan of NCIS and Netflix. She loved her red truck and taking care of everyone's animals, sneaking treats whenever she could. She will be sorely missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have been a part of her life.
