Mary Lou was born in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Clifton Heights and Aldan, PA. She met her future husband, Gary, at Gettysburg, PA. They were married on June 22, 1961 in Aldan, a marriage which lasted almost 59 years. She is the mother of two daughters, Donna Foyle of Denver, CO and Deborah Lightle, who predeceased her on March 17, 2020. Gary was a career AF officer, and as such, Mary Lou called many places home, including Austin, TX, Oxon Hill, MD, State College, PA, Chelmsford, MA, and lastly, Albuquerque, NM for the past 44 years. While in Albuquerque she sold Princess House crystal and china and was the local sales manager for over 10 years. She won numerous overseas incentive travel trips, to include London, Paris, Spain, Montreal, the Bahamas, and Hawaii. She loved to keep an elegant home. But most of all, she loved the ocean and the beach. Ocean City, NJ was one of her favorite places. She was a very strong believer in angels and in Jesus Christ.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Rose, by her brother Albert Rose, and by her youngest daughter Deborah. She is survived by her husband Gary, her sister Sandra Nielsen of Aurora, OH, her daughter Donna, her two grandsons, Gary Lees of Westminster, CO and Joshua Tuttle of Denver, CO, and her granddaughter Brittany Lightle of Aurora, CO.
