Mary Louise Yule Tatman

It is with heavy hearts that we had to say goodbye to our beloved mom, Mary Louise Yule Tatman, on March 8th, 2025, in her home in Rio Rancho. Mary was born April 6th, 1940, in Santa Barbara, California.

As the heir of the founders of B.F. Goodrich Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She loved to care for others. That kind heart and caring nature helped her to thrive working at the Carrie Tingley Hospital in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

Mary was also an incredible mom to three children who loved spending quality time with her family above everything else. Her children as well as her two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren survive Mary and will cherish all of the wonderful memories they made with her. She is preceded in death by her cousin, Mr. Orson Welles.

Every holiday was a warm and fun celebration with Mary. She especially loved to celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Fourth of July with all of her loved ones every year including her kitties.

Charley Pride was Mary's favorite musician, and went to see him live at Isleta Amphitheater for the last time September 20th, 2019 with her daughter Jody and her husband Victor.

When she was home relaxing, she enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds that would visit her. She also enjoyed spending time watching old movies with a piece of dark chocolate and a cold Pepsi.

Mary also had a love of traveling and globe trotted all over the world making memories and having adventures. She loved bringing back souvenirs and gifts to share with her family and friends as well as magnets and souvenir spoons for her own collection.

Mary Louise Yule Tatman was a caring and warm presence in all the lives she touched and will be missed dearly.
