Mary Rose "Rosie" Gutierrez

Mary Rose "Rosie" Gutierrez, age 94, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on July 23rd. She was born to Victorino and Felipita Sanchez of Tome, New Mexico. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Dario Gutierrez. She is survived by her 4 children, Annette O'Connell, Jenette Kolster, Al Gutierrez and David Gutierrez; Her 2 granddaughters, Renae Zink (husband Jesse), and Danielle Gutierrez; Her 4 great-grandchildren, Dylan O'Connell, Brooklyn Zink, Colin Zink and Meadow Kolster. Mary's life was dedicated to her family, her faith and her friends. She was a devout Catholic who went to mass daily until she was no longer able to, but she still maintained an unwavering devotion to God and her religion. Mary also had a long career with Social Security where she only retired at age 80. She loved her job and the friends that she made while working there. Mary was the sweetest, kindest most loving mom you could have. We love and miss your beautiful smile mom. 

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, 7/31, at 930am, followed by a Mass at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
