Albuquerque

Mary A. Ray, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was born in Monero, New Mexico, into a large and loving family.

Mary met the love of her life, James Ray, in Chama, New Mexico when James' parents, who lived next door to Mary, did a bit of matchmaking. She weathered hurricanes, an earthquake and the Philippine Islands as a devoted military wife and mother. They were married for over 66 years at the time of their passing just two days apart.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Porfirio Alcon and Utimia Alcon, her daughter Deborah Graham, sisters: Margaret Sandoval, Porfilia Rendon, Nora Marjerison, Isabella Alcon Martinez, Todosia Martinez, Batriz Alcon, brothers: Jose Albert Alcon, Julian Montoya, Juan Montoya, David Montoya, Juan Alcon, Casimiro Alcon. Mary joined her beloved husband James two days after he passed to begin the next part of their journey together.

Mary and James are survived by their children Yvonne Baros (Thomas), Eva Herrera (Michael), Russell Ray, Stanley Ray (Karen); grandchildren Jason Baros (Nichole), Jeremy Herrera (Stephanie), Anthony Baros (Amy), Amy Herrera, Christina Romero (Adrian), James Ray (Taylor), Marie Ray (Alex), Dario Cuesta-Ray, Ruben Cuesta-Ray, Marissa Terry (Nathan), Bryan Graham (Lacey); great grandchildren Alex Baros, Lindsey Baros, Braden Baros, Haley Martinez, Hannah Martinez, Alyssa Herrera, Leah Herrera, Bella Herrera, Ethan Romero, Bryson Romero, Eli Baros, Ezekiel Baros, Naomi Baros, Trenton Terry, Colton Terry, Finley Graham, Kieran James Vold, and Rhys Ray along with numerous extended family members.
