Suzanne Phelan

Suzanne Phelan, loving wife and mother, and lifelong educator and learner, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Suzanne was born in Evansville, Indiana, on September 13, 1938 to William D. and Dorothy Gleason Murray.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter Margaret Armijo and her husband John, son Kevin Phelan and his wife Debbie Rochford, daughter Kathleen Phelan, grandchildren Peter, Callum, and Marie Armijo, Garrett and Connor Phelan, Evan, Ryan, and Logan Rochford, Ryan and Aidan Stebbins.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joseph R. Phelan, and her brother James A. Murray.

A rosary will be recited on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 9:30 am at FRENCH-Wyoming, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 am. A reception will follow at their residence at 4526 Banff NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
