Mary Elizabeth Lukes

Beth Lukes, age 70, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. Beth was known for her love of family and friends, and for her dedication to God. She was a devoted Mother, a dedicated High School English teacher and after obtaining a Master's in Theology, she was Family Life Director for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. She also had a tremendous zest for life. She often was the life of the party and rarely met a stranger that she could not make smile. Despite her cancer, she visited Lourdes, France and hiked the El Camino di Santiago this Spring.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lukes; her sons, Greg Lukes (Nicole) and Matt Lukes (Molly); her five grandchildren: Simone, Clive, June, Dean and Jackson. She is also survived by her sisters: Karen Link, Joan Link, Kathleen Link, Ann Hosteny, Rosemary McCabe and Mary Pat Link and by her brothers: Frank Link, John Link, Jim Link and Mark Link. She also leaves behind many cherished relatives and close friends.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH – Lomas.

The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Our Lady of Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont St. NE.- Albuquerque.
