On Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Our mother, Mary Lou took her last breath here on earth and was then given unto the hands of Our Lord Jesus Christ to be cared for and to be welcomed home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Soylia Gonzales; her father, Valentin Gonzales; and the absolute love of her life, Adrian B. Calderon, Sr. She leaves behind her only daughter, Nicole K. Maurer; son-in-law, Sean M. Maurer.

Her son, Curtis Maurice Valentin Calderon was not only her business partner in selling real estate for the last 3 decades in which they received many allocates and awards were given to them, but as time changed and after our father died in 2014, Curtis stayed forever by his mom until she suffered a broken ankle, and then a complete patella replacement, as well as three strokes

In 2021, she also suffered another three strokes. Which is when Nicole came home permanently.

Her oldest son is 65 years old and has three children, Adrian B. Calderon III and is married to Lello Fiumera; Angelique Calderon and is married to CJ. Alex Calderon is the baby of the family and is living his life the best way he knows how. Ronald Gonzales, her only brother, is 82 years old and is still alive as well.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 13th, at 7:00pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 1502 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Tuesday, April 14th, at 10:30am also at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, followed by Burial at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
