Mary Jo Griffin

Mary Jo Griffin was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. MJ is survived by her children, Catherine and Andrew, daughters-in-law Denise and Yuliya and grandchildren Alex and Kira. MJ was preceded in death by her son, Thomas P. "Tom" Griffin.

A 50-year resident of Albuquerque, via Brooklyn, New York, Mary Jo made a career and friends in the commercial property management field, across several companies and numerous properties, including First National Bank Building and ABQ Uptown, spending the last ten years managing Del Norte Center.

MJ loved her family, friends, ice cream, reading, travel, knitting and the New York Giants football club.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 29th, 2026, 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish (2621 Vermont Street), with internment immediately following at Gate Of Heaven (7999 Wyoming Blvd). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary Jo's name to Casa Angelica Auxiliary  (casaangelicaauxiliary.com)
