Mary B. Bradley, formerly known as Mary Schwengler, passed on October 16, 2024, in her beautiful Jemez home in the mountains of New Mexico at the age of 61. She is survived by her four children, Joey Schwengler, Robbie Schwengler, Christie Schwengler and Elizabeth Schwengler.
Anybody that had the opportunity of knowing her knew she had a heart of gold and put that passion into everything she did, whether that be mothering four children or pursuing her dream as a nurse later in her life. She received her bachelor's degree as a Registered Nurse in her 40's after graduating at Montgomery County Community College and Drexel University in Pennsylvania. She dedicated her time to helping people and was an advocate for peace and love.
In her free time, you'd often find her in the garden or out on a nature walk, taking note of the flowers and foliage. She was someone who loved having the house smelling like fresh herbs or crushed garlic and onion and thrived on living a simple life rich with laughter. She was a radiant soul with a soft smile who always saw the good in a bad situation and purposefully chose that outlook on life.
Philadelphia born and raised by the parents of Mae and Alvin Fries, she was born an Eagles fan, and we can only hope her spirit is at rest and free to fly high like her favorite football team she was always rooting for. May her memory continue to leave those she touched filled with remembrance of what life is about - love, and may we honor and uphold her by spreading the love she so graciously gifted to everyone.
