Mary Ann Howard

Mary Ann Howard, aged 82, a devoted pastor’s wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Born on January 5, 1942, in Oklahoma, she was adopted by her loving parents and later relocated to Hobbs, NM, where she completed her high school education.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Eddie; three children, Steven, Jonathon, and Jennifer; and grandchildren, Zach, Scarlett, Gavin, and Ryder. She also leaves behind her beloved cousins, numerous cherished agents, friends, and a community of fellow believers in Christ Jesus. Mary Ann was predeceased by her adoptive parents, Mack and Gladys McCanally of Hobbs, NM.

Throughout her career, Mary Ann became a prominent figure in the Title Insurance industry and contributed significantly by educating Realtors through continuing education classes. As she traveled nationwide meeting with agents, she not only represented her company but also forged enduring friendships, often being welcomed into their homes. Mary Ann received multiple prestigious accolades in the Title Insurance industry, including the Life Achievement Award.Blessed with a beautiful singing voice, Mary Ann was a featured vocalist at North Phoenix Baptist Church for many years as well as at Christian Fellowship Church, Albuquerque NM.

A Celebration of Life service for Mary Ann will be held on December 6, 2024, at 2 pm at FRENCH- Lomas, followed by a reception.
