Martin J. Reilly

Martin J. Reilly, 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20,2025. Marty was born on March 16,1936 in Syracuse, NY to the late Thomas P and Emma L Reilly. He lived in Syracuse for 40 years before moving to Arizona, California and finally residing in New Mexico. He was a meat cutter at Loblaws, and a very proud delivery driver for Pepsi Co. in Syracuse. He continued his excellent delivery service and management career working for Keebler and Dollar Tree, among others. Due to his love of driving and excellent delivery service for Keebler, he became an active cookie lover. He was an avid Civil War buff and had many trips and adventures with his childhood friends. He loved having conversations with everyone everywhere he went. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved telling stories of his past.

Martin was active in a number of churches where they lived over the years and enjoyed listening to his Irish Christian music.

He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Emma Reilly, brothers, Thomas Reilly and James Reilly, sister, Margaret Reilly, his beloved wife, Phyllis Reilly, children, Michael Reilly, Donna Meshurle, and Mark Meshurle. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jesus) Rodriguez Syr.,NY, grandchildren Jennifer (Joe) Neumann, NM, Kevin Fugatt, TX, Kristi Fugatt, NM., Jeff, Jessica, Jami, Jenny and Julia Petersen Syr., NY, Ryan Hudgens, Gary, IN, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, who will all remember and miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at French-WYOMING on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 10 am.
