Marlene Hildabrand

Marlene Hildabrand, 80, died January 11, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Walter; her son, Brent Hildabrand and wife, Amanda of Virginia; grandchildren, Hannah and Jacob Hildabrand; her sister, Laurette Nunlist and husband, Dudley of Florida; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manker and Mabel Sherrod; and two siblings, Burton Sherrod and Charlotte Thompson. Marlene was a dedicated Elementary School teacher, a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a voracious reader. She was a devout Christian who loved the LORD. Friends may visit Tuesday, January 24, 2017, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Celebration of Life Service for Marlene will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
