Marjorie Maxine Jenkins

Marjorie "Maxine" Jenkins, 95, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2025. She was born on April 19, 1930 to Claud and Lela Hoffman. She is survived by her sister Jeanne Butler, sister-in-law Ruth Hoffman, son Rick Jenkins and wife Jean, daughter Judy Follis and husband Bob, foster-daughter Gail Carter and husband John, foster-daughter Sheri Parnell and husband Jim, 8 grandchildren and their spouses, 28 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Maxine worked alongside her husband on every venture they explored, from hairdressing to construction. They owned a hardware store then storage business for many, many years where she was also the bookkeeper. She was a wonderful seamstress and top notch in quilting, Egyptian embroidery, Swedish weaving, acrylic painting, cooking and baking. Her family never had a question about whether they were loved. She welcomed everyone with open arms. She will be so dearly missed. Visitation will be held Friday evening, June 13, 2025 from 4 PM to 6 PM at French Mortuary at 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW 87114. The service will be held on Saturday, June 14, starting at 10 AM at First Baptist Church of West Albuquerque, at 6400 Golf Course Rd. NW. 87120.
