Marian Honorio

Marian Honorio, age 87, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

As soon as anyone mentioned Marian, everyone got a smile because they knew she loved to dance.  She met her husband, Fred at a dance, they fell in love and never looked back.  They started with Latin dance then gradually moved to Tango, which became her passion.  She was a fun, creative, gregarious, and loving woman and filled with spirit.  She will be missed.

Marian is survived by her loving husband and dance partner of 61 years, Fred Honorio; her daughter, Ramona Campbell and son-in-law, Doug Campbell; daughter, Tanya Axen; grandchildren: Milana Honorio, Bryn Campbell and partner, Matt Bishop, Lisha Honorio and partner, Isaac Nevarez, Denise Honorio, Nick Axen and Tom Axen; great-grandchildren: Makenna Marquez, Santiago Nevarez, Macario Nevarez, Cruz Nevarez, Dasia Diabo and Henry Bishop; her sisters; Marie O’Dell, Lidy Valdez, Rosalee Garcia and partner Ray Garcia, Ramona Eastwood and husband Matthew; and brother, David Vigil; and many great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, Salsa friends and many Tangueros y Tangueras.

Marian was preceded in death by her loving son, Bob.  Private Services and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
