Our eternal love, we will never forget.

Maria Segovia, age 95, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026. She was born on June 18, 1931, in Tuxpan, Veracruz Mexico to Ysabel Gonzalez Yglesias and Maria Curling Ortiz. Maria was adored by those she met, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her son: Mauricio Segovia, his wife Erica Segovia; and grandson, Maurice de Segovia and Carla Segovia; and son, Hector Louis, his wife Susan Segovia; and grandson, Roberto Segovia; and granddaughter, Roseanne and Ben Jackubowski.

Maria was well traveled, loved listening to music and cooking was her passion. She often said, "don't be afraid of anything or anyone and you will accomplish everything you set out to do."

She always helped those in need and rebuild her family by bringing her mother, brothers and sisters to the US and helped establish their presence.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, at St. Jude Thaddeus Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW - Albuquerque, NM 87114, beginning with a 9:00 a.m. viewing, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Rosary and 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass, reception following Mass, Graveside Service at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
