Margaret Colleen Varner, 79, beloved wife and mother, was called to her eternal resting place on December 17, 2017. She entered this world on November 4, 1938 in Ilion, NY, born to Raoul and Agatha Castonguay. She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Donald Varner; son, Larry Varner and his wife Janelle; daughter, Krista Suazo and her husband Mark; daughter, Patti Varner- Lederman and her husband Gordon; her brother, John Castonguay and his wife Helen; her six grandchildren, Marcus and Justin Varner, Mathew and Luke Suazo, and Gwyn and Nicolas Lederman. She worked at the Family Crisis Center in Farmington, New Mexico for 25 years. In her spare time she enjoyed various needle crafts such as cross stitch, crochet and needlepoint. Her home and her children's homes are adorned with her prolific craft-work. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing board and card games. Her favorite holiday was Christmas as evident by her large collection of Santas which were displayed year-round.
