Margaret Esther Tannock

Margaret Tannock was a phenomenal woman with an extraordinary soul who passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Margaret and her 7 siblings were born in Newfoundland to James and Gertrude Mackey. Margaret married Bruce Tannock and migrated to California where they raised 4 children. They spent the past decade living in New Mexico with their daughter Susan, her husband Mark and their growing family. Margaret enjoyed the opportunity to have extended visits with her son Duane and his wife, Julie, in beautiful Georgia.

Margaret leaves an indelible impression on all that had been blessed to know her. Margaret's brilliant spirit, sweet smile, and compassionate heart captivated everyone who had the chance to spend time with her. She was a constant source of love and support for her family, always there with a listening ear and a kind heart.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her sisters Alice Mackey, Jean Barron, Beth Snow and her children Susan Parra and Duane Tannock. She was lovingly known as Nani to her grandchildren Kristena, Brienden, Kortney, Johnathon, Ryan, Juliana, Justin, Marcel, Steven and Samantha. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren James, Sawyer, Anniston, Anderson, Julian, Jude and Jonah.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Bruce, her infant son Steven, her parents, her brothers James, Michael and Loyola as well as her sister Frances. Margaret's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
