Margaret Anne Monte

Margaret C. Monte passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21st, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched all who knew her.

Margaret was the loving mother of five children: Eileen Monte, Ann Banek, Jeff Monte, Dan Monte, and Katy Slota. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she was immensely proud of the beautiful legacy she created. She was blessed with 13 wonderful grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom she loved beyond measure and held close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Larry Monte, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories.

Margaret was a faithful member of Our Lady of Annunciation Church for over 50 years, where her devotion and quiet strength were an inspiration to many. She was also an active member of the Albuquerque Assistance League, generously giving her time and compassion to serve others in her community.

Margaret will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her generous heart. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will live on in the lives of those she loved so dearly.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Rosary will be held Friday, March 27 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Annunciation followed by a Mass at 10:30am.
