Margaret "Marge" Meoli, age 95, of Albuquerque, NM, went home to be with the LORD Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Marge was born in Jamaica, NY, on March 23, 1930, to Carmela and Nicholas Meoli.
For most of her life, Marge worked in the Music Recording Industry at RCA Records in New York City, and RCA Hollywood Operations, Los Angeles, CA, West Coast A&R Administration. On her 25th Anniversary with RCA, Colonel Tom Parker presented Marge with a portrait of Elvis and a life-sized ceramic "Hound Dog." Both are treasured memorabilia, along with Gold and Platinum records from some of her artists.
Marge retired from RCA after 35 years and then joined the Academy of Country Music, where she served as Secretary to the Board of Directors and was honored with the Mae Boren Axton Award, "for outstanding dedication and service to the Academy." She retired from the Academy of Country Music after 15 years of service and moved to Albuquerque, NM.
Not one to enjoy idle time, she tutored Kindergarten children, volunteered 10 years of service working with seniors and traveled the world, which was a great passion.
Most affectionately known as "Aunt Margie" to her family, she was a force to be reckoned with (if you stepped out of line), but we knew that she loved us unconditionally. She was a gift from above, who kept on giving. Our sorrow is a bit lessened by the joy of knowing that she has gone home to be with the LORD and reunited with her mother, Carmela (Nana), father, Nicholas (Pop-Pop), brother Bernard Meoli, nephew, John Ripi, Jr., and her precious dog, Taffy.
Marge is survived by her sisters, Teri Ripi and husband, John, of Rio Rancho, NM and Marie Bauch, of Remington, VA, along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. They include Lynn Cole, and son, Shaun Willoughby, his daughter, Alana, and sons Roman, Abraham and Ezekiel Willoughby, and Daniel Cole; Anthony Ripi and daughter Kayla, and Nicholas Ripi; Christine Maenza and daughters, Alexis, Emily, Christina and sons, Anthony and Nicholas Maenza; Carol Lindsay and daughter Gracie and son Daniel Lindsay; Thomas Meoli and sons Austin, Ashton and daughter Alyssa Meoli; Stephen Meoli and sons Christopher and Connor; and Elizabeth Meoli.
Private services will be held, with entombment at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to "Alzheimer's Dementia" in honor of Margaret Meoli. The donation can be made toFisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation at https://www.alzinfo.org
