Celebrating the Life of Marc Jackson
A Beautiful Journey of Faith, Family, and Love
February 10, 1953 • October 18, 2026
A Life Blessed by God
With grateful hearts and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we celebrate the remarkable life of Marc Jackson. Born on
February 10, 1953, in Washington, D.C., to Ralph and Ella Jackson, Marc grew up on the East Coast with his brothers Dwight,
Stephen, and Ralph Jackson, and his sisters Beverly Jackson and Kim Richardson. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and
brother, Marc was also a distinguished United States Air Force veteran who attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He is
lovingly remembered by his wife, Sioly; sons, Jason and Lucas Jackson; cherished grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews,
cousins, extended family members, and friends.
A Love Story
While stationed at Clark Air Base in the Philippines in 1983, Marc was introduced to Sioly by his friend Rico. Sioly worked at Clark
Air Base Medical Center during the day. Their friendship grew into a lasting love, and they married on June 15, 1983. Together they
welcomed two sons, Jason and Lucas, and built a family rich in love and treasured memories.
A Lifetime of Honorable Service
Marc honorably served 28 years in the United States Air Force, demonstrating unwavering dedication and distinction throughout his
military career. He rose to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force. In recognition of his
exceptional service, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, along with numerous other military decorations and honors
throughout his career. His assignments took his family to the Philippines, Japan, Guam, New Mexico, and other locations. In 1998,
he arrived at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, where he served until his military retirement. Committed to lifelong learning,
Marc earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management from National American University and a Master's degree in Human
Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. He later worked as a manager at Intel, retiring in 2016.
The Many Joys of Life
Marc was a man of many talents, interests, and passions. Whether working on cars, enjoying sports, traveling the world, practicing
martial arts, challenging his mind through chess, exploring his fascination with aeronautics, or relaxing to the timeless sounds of
soul music, he found joy in life's many adventures. His curiosity, knowledge, and enthusiasm extended far beyond these interests,
leaving behind countless memories and stories that his loved ones will forever cherish.
A Legacy of Love
Marc's greatest legacy was not the rank he earned or the places he traveled, but the love he gave as a husband, father,
grandfather, brother, and beloved "Pops." We cherish his strength, wisdom, sacrifices, and the memories that will live on through
generations. Though we grieve his passing, we find comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Until We Meet Again, Pops
We honor your service, cherish your memories, and thank God for the family you helped build. Rest peacefully, Pops. Forever in our
hearts and forever in God's hands.
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
Philippians 1:21 (NIV)
