Manuel R. Muñoz, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2017. Manuel was known for his great love for his family, and his sense of humor; he was an educator and a proud Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Socorro; and children, Julia Sedillo (Oscar), Debbie Salas (David), Martha Muñoz, Barbara Fernandez (Danté) and Charles Muñoz (Tina); his grandchildren, David, Angela, Javier, Daniel, Anita, Amanda, Anthony, Cecilia, and Gracie; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Sienna, Cristiano, Daniel, Roman and Sebastian; and cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother.
A Rosary and visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017, 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday, December 27, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Mexico Veterans Memorial.
