In Loving Memory of Lynn E. Kuntz:

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Lynn Elizabeth Kuntz on June 11, 2025. Born on February 29, 1988, Lynn brought boundless laughter and joy to her loving parents, older brother, and twin sister.

A leap year baby, Lynn and her twin's birthday was the source of a cherished family tradition: every non-leap-year on February 28th at 11:59 p.m., her parents would enter her room to say "Happy Bir...," only to pause and complete it with "oh darn, we missed it" at exactly 12:00 a.m. on March 1st. This small, sweet ritual continued as a phone call into adulthood and is representative of the warmth and humor that shaped Lynn's personality.

Lynn was a gifted and imaginative artist whose work spanned drawing, painting, and multimedia. She had a remarkable ability to fill a room with vibrant conversation, deep thought, and genuine laughter. Her sense of humor was quick, generous, sometimes sharp, and utterly unique.

Lynn's wit, passion, and creative spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents, David and Dru Ann Kuntz; her older brother, Alan Kuntz; her twin sister, Sara Kuntz; her beloved four-pawed companion, Bandit; and many extended family members and dear friends.

A public funeral service will be held in her honor at Asbury United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, NM, on Friday, June 20th at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. Please bring umbrellas for shade and dress comfortably for warm weather.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lynn's memory to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (bbrfoundation.org), an organization supporting causes close to the hearts of Lynn and her family.
