Lynn was born in New Orleans and grew up on the West Bank in Harvey & Marrero, (the daughter of Joseph and Rose Bordlee), attending Nicholls State University in Thibodaux before graduating with Honors from Charity Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in 1980. She then was the Cardiology & Angiography Special Procedures Supervisor at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero till 1986 when she met her LSUMC husband to be, Dr. Frederick Wm. Rupp, M.D., subsequently moving to Temple, Texas to work for Siemens Medical Systems (while Dr. Rupp trained in Radiology), as a Cardiovascular Applications Specialist & later to Albuquerque, New Mexico (where Dr. Rupp pursued Neuroradiology) as Siemens Western US Zone Clinical Education Director, retiring in 2018 due to a cruel, untreatable, progressive neuronal alpha-synuclein accumulation neurological disease, Multiple System Atrophy, both Cerebellar & Parkinsonian Types.
Lynn traveled the world with Siemens but especially loved "humidity-free" New Mexico, living at high altitude in the foothills, feeding all manner of wildlife and cherished by all she met. Lynn loved her sports cars and was lucky enough to drive the Autobahn & Nurburgring in Germany as well as attend Formula 1 races. Lynn was the most kind, caring, intelligent, witty, loving and beautiful woman and her loss is immeasurable...
Lynn is survived by her husband of 37 years; as well as her brother, Joseph and his wife, Amelia and her two nieces, Nancy and Lisa, all of New Orleans.
Lynn's Memorial Plaque is in the Urn Garden at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
