Lydia Sandoval

Lydia Sandoval was born in Vaughn, New Mexico, August 6, 1940 and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Lydia helped raise her wonderful family and her compassionate heart led her to a career working at Casa Maria's alzheimer's care. Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, Blas and Seferina Martinez; brother, Leo Martinez; and daughter, Yolanda Sandoval.  She is survived by her husband of 65 years Joe Sandoval; daughters, Jo Ann Montoya husband Abel, Linda Sanchez husband Paul; sons; Jimmy Sandoval wife Dee, Michael Sandoval; grandchildren, Angelina Sanchez, Jessie Rice husband Joe, Rachel Parmentier husband Marc, Frances Sandoval, Rhonda Salazar, Crystal Gutierrez; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; brother, Blas Martinez Jr. and Sadie. Mom love to make quilts, embroider, and likes to read autobiographies. And enjoyed Scenic Rail Experiences, Cruises, Motor Coach Tours, they are on Wall of Fame at Sun Tours. The family would like to thank the staff at Presbyterian Hospital and the staff at High Desert Hospice.
