Lucille F. Goodlander

Lucille F. Goodlander was born in Alamogordo, NM on February 25, 1928. She married Gerald Goodlander I on August 6, 1945. Following WWII, they settled in Gerald's home area of Northwest Indiana. After 58 years of marriage and Gerald's death in 2004, Lucille returned to Southern New Mexico where she lived until her passing on April 6, 2017 at the age of 89.
Lucille was also pre-deceased by her parents, Jeff and Fannie Campbell; sister, Marjorie Boyse; oldest son, Gerald II; youngest son ,Jeff; and grandson, Michael. She is survived by her son, Jim (Milda) of Edgewood, NM; brother, Frank Campbell of Cloudcroft, NM; sister, Joann Stickle of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Gerald III and Jason Goodlander of Indiana, Justin Truitt of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Truitt and Robert Goodlander of New Mexico; as well many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. Her favorite things included playing cards with her friends at the senior center, enjoying the flowers in her yard, country music and spending time with her family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 22, 2017, 2:00 p.m. in the Parlor of First Christian Church, 1006 Bullock Ave, Artesia, NM 88210. Final interment of Lucille's cremated remains will occur later in Northwest Indiana.
