Lucille M. Banghart

August 12, 1927 — April 19, 2023

After being apart for so long Lucille M. Banghart was called home to be with the love of her life Dallas J Banghart. Dallas (Dick) and Lucille (Lila) found each other in 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The moment they met each other they knew they had found the "one." Dick and Lila were married a short time later. Dick was in the Military, and they spent many years travelling the world and experiencing everything. Together they started a beautiful family and had Michael and Eileen Banghart. They continued to travel around the world until Dick retired from the Military back in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dick was not done though, and he continue to work with the VA and created several other business opportunities as the years went on and Lila continued to build a wonderful home and family, on top of working in between. Over the years the family grew as their three grandchildren joined the family, Shae, Colton, and Shelby. They devoted their time to their grandchildren and loved every minute of it. The family will not be the same with them as the pillars holding the family together.

Dallas J. Banghart, also known as Dick, 93, was a dedicated servicemember who was known for his sense of humor, stories, and dedication to his family. Dick passed away January 24th, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dick grew up in Royal Oak, Michigan with his Parents, Gerald, and Dorothy Banghart, along with his five brothers. Dick joined the Military from high school where he served in WWII and the Merchant Marines. He continued his career in the Military and eventually wound up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he found the love of his life, his sweet Lila. That is when their story began.

Lucille M. Banghart, also known as Lila, 95, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. Lila passed away on April 19th, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lila grew up in Bernalillo, New Mexico with her parents Anthony and Lucy Navarro, along with her ten brothers and sisters. Lila graduated high school in Bernalillo, New Mexico and then started to work which is where she met Dick.

Dick and Lila were preceded in death by grandson, Colton J Hall, their parents, and siblings. Dick and Lila are survived by their children, Michael Banghart and Eileen Hall, and grandchildren, Shae Garcia and Shelby Hall. They are also survived by Lila's brother, Nene Navarro; and Lila's sisters, Helen Martinez, and Mary Ann Montoya. They also leave behind many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
