Lowell Kurtis Pearson, 76, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, just one day before his 77th birthday. He was born on June 16, 1949, in St. James, Minnesota, to Leland and Ruth Pearson.

Lowell lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and deep faith. He had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went, drawing others in with his caring nature and quick wit. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his wife, Joanne, whom he loved dearly.

Lowell is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lara Kerris, and her husband Matt, along with their children Amalya, Priya, and Noah; his son, Justin Pearson, and his wife Julie, along with their children Luca, Oliver, and Miles; his brothers, Jon Pearson and Dean Pearson; his sister, Debra Steichen; and their families. His family was a source of great pride and joy in his life.

A man of Christian faith, Lowell trusted in God's promises and carried that hope throughout his life. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel at FRENCH-Lomas with a reception to follow. To view the recorded service please click here
