Louise B. Pachelli, age 87, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was born in Morley, Colorado on February 5, 1932 to parents, Frank and Mary Armijo. Louise is survived by her loving family; husband, Anthony; children, Tony (Terri), Gene (Liz), Lori (George) and Tom (Lynn); grandchildren, Ally, Adri, Nick, Andrew, Daniel and Yebsera; siblings, Frank, Carolyn and Judy; and many nieces and nephews.
Louise grew up with her family in Trinidad, Colorado a few blocks from her future husband Anthony. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic schools, and enjoyed tap dancing and ballet, played the organ in church, was a cheerleader and on the homecoming court.
Louise & Anthony were married in 1954 and moved to Albuquerque in the late 1960’s. They lovingly raised their family together and were a true example of steadfast and everlasting love and would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 12, 2019.
Louise was a loving and dedicated force of nature, caring for both family and friends, organizing family events; like birthday celebrations and Sunday night family dinner and community events like; the Coleman Vision Tennis Championship Tournament and Sandia High School registration.
Louise will always be remembered for her beauty, welcoming nature, selflessness, optimism, quiet determination and her lasagna. She loved attending all her children’s and grandchildren’s events, any and all sporting events, tennis, bright flowers, shopping, shoes, and ice cream. She loved to feed her family and anyone who entered her home along with them; her lasagna has sustained many baseball, soccer and tennis teams, skiers, swimmers, and hungry friends for decades. Louise’s dedication to her family is paralleled by her dedication to her parish of over 40 years, Our Lady of Annunciation.
