Louis Archuleta, age 80, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on Thursday, June 11, 2020.
He entered this world on September 26, 1939 in Mexhoma, OK, born to Marcos and Felipta Archuleta. He is survived by his wife, Donna Archuleta; stepdaughter, Lynette Johnson (Blake); and stepson, Rodney Hodges (Melinda).
Surviving siblings include Praxie Bunce, Josie Mercado, Rosie Mills, Gloria Marez, Christina Castro, and Philip Archuleta. Louis had five grandchildren, Patrick and Chad Johnson, Renee Hodges, and Gerald and Allen Hazel.
Louis was known as PaPa by many of his grandchildren. Special thanks to sister-in-law, Shirley Lujan, who lent her support throughout his illness.
Louis served in the Army from March 1960 - October 1966. Louis worked at Sandia National Laboratory as a photographer, and retired after 35 years. Photography was his hobby as well, and was always taking pictures of landscapes and wildlife while traveling and visiting family.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 7, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming
