Loretta June Sandoval, born on June 20, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at the age of 78. A devoted wife for over 50 years to her beloved husband, Ed Sandoval, Loretta cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind her daughter, Christina Sandoval, and was a loving second parent to her three grandsons, whom she adored deeply. Loretta was preceded in death by Clifton Tanner and Roselyn Tanner.
Loretta earned her Bachelor's Degree and dedicated her career to accounting, working for the State of New Mexico. Her professional life was characterized by her integrity and commitment to her work. However, it was her personal passions that truly defined her. She found joy in traveling, exploring new culinary delights, and immersing herself in books. Her love for family gatherings was unmatched, as she cherished making memories with her loved ones.
A rosary will be held Monday, August 25, 2025, 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A graveside service will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Loretta's warmth, humor, and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
