A Love That Will Last Forever.

Lorana Cordelia Jones Harrison January 12, 1936 - June 29, 2026 and Darrol Lee Harrison March 22, 1934 - July 2, 2026.

Some love stories last a lifetime. Theirs lasted more than 66 beautiful years on this earth-and will continue through eternity.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, our family celebrates the lives of Lorana Cordelia Jones Harrison and Darrol Lee Harrison. They were shining examples of conviction, discipleship, and unwavering love.

Lorana was born on January 12, 1936, in Malad City, Idaho. She devoted her life to her family as a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver, and teacher. She possessed a gentle spirit that made everyone feel welcome, accepted, and important, while facing life's challenges with remarkable strength, determination, and resilience.

Darrol was born on March 22, 1934, in Midwest, Wyoming. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War era and later worked for the United States Forest Service for more than 30 years. He guided his family with compassion and patience. His children and grandchildren sought his thoughtful and practical counsel, which he always provided with care and understanding.

Darrol and Lorana met while attending the University of Idaho and were married and sealed together, for time and all eternity, on August 17, 1959, in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they created a life filled with commitment, faith, love, learning, laughter, music, and joy.

Both were faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and were dedicated to sharing their time and talents with others in various leadership and support roles in the church, as well as the communities in which they lived. They served a full-time mission together in the Billings Montana Mission, blessing many lives and providing assistance where needed. Lorana quietly exemplified her faith every day through service, compassion, and Christlike love, while Darrol was admired for his wisdom, integrity, humility, and steadfastness.

On June 29, 2026, Lorana peacefully passed away at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After rarely spending time apart during their marriage, Darrol followed her just three days later, passing away on July 2, 2026. We find comfort in knowing that their separation was brief and that their reunion was joyful and eternal.

They found their greatest happiness in one another and in the family that grew from their love. Lorana and Darrol are survived by their six children: Rhonda; Darwin (Lori Shupe); Darlah Edwards (Chris); Craige (Trena Rasmussen); Laraun; and Maurah (Theresa Anderson). They were also blessed with 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to their lives. Lorana is also survived by her beloved sister, Luann Webb, and many cherished nephews and nieces. 

Darrol is also survived by two grand nephews, his nephew, Todd Harrison; his niece-in-law, Julia Harrison; and their families.

For generations to come, Darrol and Lorana will continue to influence each of us because of the faith they shared, the values they taught, and the love they gave.
