Lois Milarch passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 5th, 2026.

She was born Lois May Silvers on July 30 1943, in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Her family and friends will remember her as dedicated, enthusiastic, and engaging in whatever she was doing.

Those who knew her will also remember Lois had the gift of being socially adventurous. She would easily spark up a conversation with anyone and everyone around her. She was always willing to take on a new task or project, was a quick study, and not afraid to work hard or get her hands dirty. She was in the right family for that trait to be greatly appreciated!

Lois worked as a nurse for over 20 years with many of those years in the psych ward at Anna Kaseman hospital. If anyone around Lois experienced a medical emergency, on an airplane, at a social gathering, or anywhere she was, she would leap into action.

Lois was a believing Christian, attended Calvary Church of Albuquerque, and practiced Christian love. She spoke directly, was strong-willed, and genuine.

Above all, Lois was a great mom to her 5 children and dedicated to her loving husband, Jack. They have 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of which she loved very much.

Of her immediate family, Lois is survived by husband Jack Milarch, daughter Jodi Darnell, and sons Benjamin Milarch and Brian Wester.

Lois was preceded in death by parents Norma and Floyd Silvers, sister Lila Kohn (Ed), brother Lee Silvers (Jean), daughter Jill Brady (Ed), and son Andrew Milarch.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at FRENCH Wyoming at 10:00am with a reception to follow.
