Lois Joan Homrich
September 1, 1927 — June 8, 2016
Lois Joan Homrich passed away June 8, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 88. Lois is survived by her sons Robert and Eugene Homrich; her daughters, Judy Hardy (Robert) and Mary Del Mar (Pete); nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Homrich, Sr., and her son, Thomas Homrich.
Lois was always there to encourage her children, through thick and thin. She was always the one who kept the family together. She also loved to bake. Her cookies were famous throughout the southwest and Florida. For years, she baked cookies for the local bereavement group and many homebound residents.
A Rosary will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lois' name to the St. Thomas Aquinas Building Fund, www.stanm.weshareonline.org.
