Lisa L. Higginson

Lisa L. Higginson, 54, was born and raised in Grants, NM. She was a longtime resident of Winslow, AZ. Lisa passed away surrounded by her family in Albuquerque, NM on June 11, 2016. Lisa enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and laughter. Lisa always took care of everybody around her, right up until the day she passed away. Her smile and laugh lit up every room, every day and everywhere she was.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Neal; daughter Savannah Valdez and Jimmy Duffy and grandson Joshua; her sons Zachary and Sandon Higginson; daughter Jaala and husband Derrick Wortuba and grandson Brendon; her mother, Grace Cunningham; brothers Randy Cunningham, William and wife Mindy Cunningham; niece Shania Cunningham and Markus Gonzales; nephews Wyatt, Steven, and Christopher, Sister Pamela Cunningham and nieces Tiffany McCoy and Nichole Wilson. Lisa is preceded in death by her grandmother, Grace James, and her father, Harold "Red" Cunningham; brother Stephen Cunningham; granddaughter, Arianna Valdez, and niece Courtney Cunningham.
Lisa will be laid to rest Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico.
