Linda Elaine Warner

Linda Elaine (Samples) Warner, 86, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Warner; her parents, Robert Samples and Mary Gordon; and her brother, Gary Samples.

She leaves behind a family who loved her: her daughters, Michelle Kellogg, Lisa Amick, and Terri Hebdon; her cherished sons-in-law, Jeff Kellogg, Brian Amick, and Chris Hebdon, whom she loved as her own sons; her beloved grandchildren, Ryan Kellogg and his wife, Rebekah, Morgan Kerschen and her husband, Nick, Tori Hebdon, and William Hebdon; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Charlotte Kerschen, Harper Kerschen, and Wesley Kellogg.

In 1975, Linda and her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, when her husband, Bill, accepted a promotion with Seagram's as State Manager. The move began a wonderful new chapter filled with lifelong friendships, memorable travels, and countless opportunities to entertain family and friends.

Linda enjoyed a successful 20+ year career as a merchandiser. She balanced her work life with an unwavering commitment to her family, serving as a room mother in the Albuquerque Public Schools and supporting her daughters at every stage of their lives.

She lived an active life. Whether she was weight training, attending aerobics classes, dancing, walking with friends, or enjoying her book club, Linda found joy in keeping both her body and mind active. She also found joy in painting and was a gifted quilter, lovingly creating beautiful quilts for family, friends, and charitable causes.

Linda was the devoted Activities Director for her homeowner's association; she planned social events that brought neighbors together, organized garage sales and helped create community.

Above all else, Linda's greatest pride was her family. She celebrated the accomplishments of her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and took great joy in watching each of them build their own lives. Her family was her greatest joy, and her legacy lives on in each of them.

Linda lived a life filled with family, friendships, meaningful work, and service to others. Those who knew and loved her will miss her deeply and remember her with love.

As she would want us to remember: "I hope you dance. I did."

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 10:00 am at FRENCH-Wyoming followed by a reception.
