Linda M. Sandoval, age 98, went to be with the Lord, June 6, 2017. Linda was well remembered as one of the first county registered nurses in the State of New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Antonio Sandoval; her brothers, Adolf Martinez, Alfred Martinez; and sister, Marie Newman. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Toni); and her daughter, Diana Miller-Salinas (Fred). She is also survived by her brothers, Frank Martinez, and Phillip Martinez; and her sister, Maxine Dawson. She also leaves behind four loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Linda was very active in the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Friends may visit FRENCH – Wyoming on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 15, 2017, 9:00 a.m., at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE. The family would like to thank Hospice of New Mexico and especially Leslie, Valerie, Tammy and Misty for going above and beyond.
